Been a couple of articles about TrineSeries on the web today

There is two websites I read just about everyday for my daily dose of Windows Mobile and Windows Phone news, and that is WMExperts, and PocketNow.

WMExperts also got THE best podcast about Windows Phone, seriously, if you want to listen to just ONE podcast and got a Windows Phone, listen to that one!

You can guess my surprise when I saw this headline when I read the news at WMExperts today.

After having succumbed to the initial chock of sudden fame, I continued reading…and what’a you know. Right below it, ANOTHER TrineSeries article!

Trine’s LightningTimer
A nice little app that helps you determining how far away a lightning strikes from your position. Has nice graphics, real-time calculations, “multitasks”, uses the selected theme of the phone, and also is planned to use Bing maps to show the estimated position of the lightning on a map.

Trine’s Hangman
Trine has requested this for a looong time, and finaly I have started on her favorite game.

It has great graphics and animations, has achievements (not Xbox Live yet…but we will try to get Microsoft in on it;), user selectable backgrounds (that automatically follows the light/dark settings on the phone), uses accent coloring of phone, “multitasks” in a smart way (you can play for some seconds/minute, pause do other things, come back next day, and the phone records only the actual time your playing, so you can set a new “highest score in first 5 minutes of game” even when playing 20 seconds a day).

When the user selects a background picture, Trine’s Hangman will automatically make sure that the picture fits the theme of the phone (light or dark).

Both apps are unfinished…will need more work of course…but already things look really good. From a guy who’s been working hard on old-school WM apps before…WP7 is a dream platform to code for…I can see myself making some amazing apps on this platform…AND having fun while doing so

This is both a happy and a sad day at the same time, since this is actually our last application for good old Windows Mobile, ever

I will now focus 100% on the Windows Phone 7 launch, and plan to have a couple of applications ready when WP7 launches in october/November. My first WP7 application is actually finished

We have now fixed this issue, and we had to delete the un-activated users in that process. So if you have tried to register before, please try again, and you should now receive the activation E-mail.

Hopefully we have now finally gotten all issues resoved from the vendor-switch we made. The speed of the webpages and forum are at least hugely improved, which was the reason for the switch.

So now you can let your voice be heard in the forums again, and tell us what you like / dislike, and what you want that is missing in TrineSeries.

Men dette betyr også at nå “ligger ballen i vårt fang”…og vi ikke kan skylde på andre enn oss selv for at Trine-i-Farta ikke er i en bugfri og “trafikanten-godkjent” versjon på Marketplace med SkyHooks funksjonalitet (lokalisering uten GPS). Men vi tar selvfølgelig den utfordringen!

Så for alle som har brukt TiF i laaang tid…snart blir den enda bedre…myyye bedre!
